Jordan is a caring and insightful therapist that has always had a passion for discovering the beauty in all that she encounters. As a therapist her goal is to help you uncover the beauty of what lies within, your true potential. Jordan strives to equip her clients with the necessary tools to tackle the world one issue at a time. She works with teens, adults and couples providing a safe, affirming, non-judgmental space for healing and support.
As a humanistic and mindful therapist, Jordan helps clients gain a better understanding of their emotions and experiences through establishing a collaborative therapeutic relationship. Jordan is actively engaged and interactive in sessions and offers a honest, compassionate and empathic approach to therapy. Finding a therapist that you feel comfortable with and connected to is important. Each session with Jordan is catered towards the individual, to ensure that your therapeutic journey is one that is most helpful to you.
Jordan has extensive experience working with clients from various cultural, spiritual, and religious backgrounds. She specializes in Mindfulness-Based Interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Jordan works with transitioning adults, couples, and individuals seeking to better their lives but are having a hard time figuring out how.
Jordan also utilizes Prepare Enrich when working with couples. Prepared Enrich is a personalized assessment that helps couples increase relationship satisfaction for those seeking dating or premarital counseling.
As a young, Black therapist, Jordan strives to help dissolve the stigmas and stereotypes of mental health care in Black and Brown communities. She also provides loving therapeutic support to individuals who have endured trauma through racially charged interactions and experiences. Using a culturally sensitive structure, Jordan it open to discussing race, sexuality, spirituality, and how it affects our daily lives with clients seeking a safe space to talk about these topics. She is LGBTQIA+ affirming and continuously works on educating and advocating for all.
In her spare time Jordan enjoys baking, creating eclectic playlists, practicing yoga, blogging, and working on the podcast “The Mind over Matter Podcast”.
